Tammy Pope opened Live True Vintage in May of 2013 on Gallatin Road in East Nashville. The idea was simple: Offer a broad selection of vintage clothing and accessories to people at an affordable price. She sourced, laundered and stocked all of the inventory herself, and within a few short months LTV had garnered itself a group of loyal customers from all walks of life. The store soon became a popular stop for members of Nashville’s art and music community, and often hosted intimate in-store performances for both local and touring musicians.
Live True closed it’s Gallatin Road location at the end of 2015, due to lack of space and ongoing issues with a very old building. But just a couple of months later found it’s new home at 103 22nd St. in historic Old Hickory. The former home of Fry Pharmacy Studio, the new location provided a perfect location for LTV to grow into it’s potential.
Now, almost 3 years later, we’re proud to expand our online presence, and are excited to offer our amazing finds to a broader audience!
As always, Thanks for your support and Live True!!
